Before we meet

A few things to think about
before our first conversation.

There are no right answers here — just an invitation to reflect. The more you share, the more useful our time together will be.

Why this matters

Most first meetings start from zero.

We'd rather start from somewhere. When you take a few minutes to think through these questions, our conversation can begin at a different level — one where we're already talking about what actually matters to you.

This isn't a form to complete. It's a chance to think. Take as long, or as little, as you'd like.

01

What's on your mind financially right now?

It might be something specific — a decision you're facing, a number that concerns you — or something more general, like a sense that things need to be more organized, or that you're not sure if you're on track. Anything is fair to name here.

02

What does financial security look like for you?

Not a number — a feeling. What would it mean to feel financially secure? What would be different about your life?

03

What's worked well in past financial relationships?

And what hasn't? This helps us understand what kind of partnership would actually be useful to you — and what to avoid repeating.

04

What's one thing you hope comes out of our first conversation?

It might be a question answered, a decision made clearer, or just a sense that you're in the right place. What would make our time together feel worthwhile?

A few logistics

Before we meet, please have on hand:

Don't worry if you don't have everything — we can always gather what's missing later.

  • A general sense of your current income and monthly expenses
  • Any investment or retirement account statements (recent is fine)
  • Any questions you've been meaning to ask a financial advisor
  • A note on any major financial decisions you're facing in the next 12–24 months
  • Names of other advisors or professionals involved in your financial picture

Thank you for reflecting.

There's no need to submit this or send it anywhere. It's for you. We'll pick up the conversation when we meet — and the thinking you've done here will already be in the room with us.
